I have just returned fromAfrica and my third fund raising trek on behalf of Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity.  Over 6 demanding and challenging days I trekked through the Namib Desert and Brandberg Wilderness, covering over 90 KM and enduring temperatures of 38/39 degrees C. On the longest day we walked for 12 hours and encountered a puff adder and hyenas!

Although very well known GOSH is a medium size charity and it does not have enough in reserves to fund its long overdue and ambitious building programme that will make a difference to the lives of sick children around the world.  

With your support I have already raised around £6000 for GOSH on previous treks and I would be very grateful for any support you can give this time. I have paid all the direct costs myself and ALL the money I raise will go to the charity to help pay for a new cardiac theatre that will provide state-of-the-art surgical facilities and will offer video training facilitites to hospitals across the world.
