Hi!  Thank you for visiting my fund-raising page.

This is just to let everyone know that we successfully completed the walk outlined below. We did it in 5 days, starting on Monday 6 July and had no major problems.  Many thanks to all the family and friends who supported and encouraged me.

 

As you may know, during the first week in July I am proposing to walk the 'rural' section of the Thames Way from Richmond to the source with my cousin Alex.  I would like to use this activity to raise funds for international cancer research in memory of two good friends, Claire Meakin from Derby, UK and Bill Fairbairn from Perth, WA.

The total distance is approximately 90 miles but for sponsorship purposes, I'm saying that I'll complete at least 50 miles - just in case!!!

I hope that you will be able to support me as I think I will need all the encouragement I can get!  And please keep your fingers crossed for some good weather for us!
