I have decided to raise money for Cancer charities as a result of numerous family members being affected. Sadly I lost a grandad and a Grandma to the disease and currently my sister has the disease along with my cousin who has recently been told she is in the clear following a severe case of Breast Cancer. 

This may seem like a small amount of people, but multiply this across  the country and you can see how many people could and will be touched by the disease. it affects not only the person suffering but all the love ones and friends. It is not an ageist, class or wealth based disease, we are all vulnerable to this disease so let's try and help research for the cures and also for the invaluable work that is carried out by hospital and hospice staff around the country. 

I have planned a trip around England, to visit all the mainland counties in 5 days. It will cover in excess of 1700miles, all of which will hopefully be dry! The trip is setting off early April 2014 final date will be issued in due course.

if anyone else wants to join me on the ride ( date to be finalised subject to the good old English weather but in the spring probably ) then please contact me on my email. marksmith656@hotmail.com.   For obvious reasons numbers can't be too great but obviously a few more people would raise a bit more money. Who knows we may even end up with our picture in the newspaper!!

if this trip is a success, then who knows it could be around Europe next time!
