Story

Hello

On Wednesday September 9th I leave for Africa and start what is sure to be a truly horrific experience as I begin my climb of Mount Kilimanjaro. People keep telling me that “if Chris Moyles can do it anyone can”, but I think Chris Moyles took a helicopter to the summit and had some lypo on route.

To be honest it’s not the climb that scares me, but the thought of not washing for ten days and living in a tent. I still can’t get my head around the fact that I won’t be changing my underpants for ten days (too much information sorry), you just carrying on adding clothes on top of clothes as it starts to get colder. As you probably know I don’t like dirt very much and detest camping.

Anyway in order to help me get through this PLEASE sponsor us. I’m raising money for The Lowe Syndrome Trust for which I am very proud to be a Patron of. The Lowe Syndrome Trust is a small charity run by a dear friend Lorraine Thomas. Lorraine set the charity up after he son Oscar was diagnosed with the disease. Lowe Syndrome is an incurable children’s disease which affect the brain, eyes, kidneys, bones and muscles.

Lorraine has built the charity up from scratch all on her own and is continually funding scientific research projects and making breakthroughs in finding a cure for the Lowe Syndrome disease. For further info please go to: http://www.lowetrust.com

PLEASE dig deep and donate some money, every penny raised goes straight into the charity.

See you all on the other side,

Mark
