Etape du Tour 2007 · 16 July 2007 ·

MS-UK is here to support anyone affected by multiple sclerosis (MS), which affects over 150,000 people in the UK. We empower people with MS to live healthier and happier lives by improving the understanding of the condition and providing support where it is needed most.

Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.

Taking place on the 16th July, the Etape is a stage of the Tour de France.  This years route is 120 miles through the Pyrenees taking in five mountainous peaks.  Training is going well and I am currently covering at least 200 miles a week although cycling the local South Downs is not quite the same as a 12.5 mile uphill slog to the highest summit I will be facing in July....

I am funding the entire cost of entering the race myself but would like to take the opportunity to raise some money for multiple sclerosis.  With close family members affected by this disease I am hoping to be able to make a donation of £2,000 to MSRC.  This dedicated charity is committed to providing unbiased information and advice, empowering individuals to make choices appropriate to their daily lives that will maximise their potential.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The Multiple Sclerosis Resource Centre will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support.
