Having run last year for a large charity, I have decided to choose a small charity this year. Unfortunately during the recession, smaller charities such as The Deptford Disabled People's Contact are struggling to attract donations, so I would appreciate any amount, however small to help improve the quality of life for the people that rely on the DPC.

The Deptford Disabled People's Contact provides transport, activities and a lunch club for elderly and disabled people in a deprived part of south London. It is a charity that I and my family have been supporting for some years and this year I decided to raise funds for it whilst running the Flora London Marathon.
