We fund life saving medical research to beat the world's biggest killers.

Story

***UPDATE***

WE DID IT!! In the face of shocking conditions on two of the mountains(it rained from about half way up Ben Nevis to the top and all the way down again, there was so much cloud cover that visibility was dreadful, and there was snow on the summit to boot, and on Scafell Pike we all pretty much slid down to the bottom - not one of us escaped a fall!) we managed to reach the 3 summits and come back down again in one piece (almost!).

The BHF support was fantastic so a big thank you is due to them, but most importantly a big thank you to all of our sponsors and supporters - we've raised a huge amount of money for a really worthy cause.

THANK YOU!

We need your help! Whilst drinking coffee in the comfort of Kate's house, Louise announced that she wanted to take part in the British Heart Foundation's Biggest Mountain Challenge - no mean feat for a self-employed mum of three children under five, not least because she had given herself only 4 months to train for it. To show our support (or stupidity...) six more of us decided to rise to the challenge with her.

On the 28th and 29th June our intrepid team will be climbing the three highest mountains in the UK (Nen Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon) in the space of 36 hours.

We are raising money for the British Heart Foundation in order to further vital research into heart defects, particularly in newborns. Louise and Paul tragically lost baby Mary at 26 weeks into the pregnancy due to congenital heart defect, and Kate and Pete experienced a similar scare whilst pregnant with Jonathan. Miraculously, after undergoing 10 hours of open heart surgery at only 9 days old, Jonathan fought through it, and celebrated his first birthday in January this year.

With your support we can help fund research which will enable more babies like Mary and Jonathan to survive.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us,  The British Heart Foundation will receive your money more quickly and if you are a UK taxpayer an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no extra cost to you.
