Story

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page. As you probably know, Sunday 15th March 2009 would have been Martin's 50th Birthday. Even though he won't be with us we wanted to mark the day and do something that would be a fitting tribute to the person we are all missing so much - a bike ride on Saturday 14th March 2009 seemed to be a great idea! We are cycling the Brampton Valley Way from Draughton Crossing to Market Harborough and back (about 16 miles in total) and along the way hoping to raise some money for Cynthia Spencer Hospice, (for details about the ride go to www.martinsbike.co.uk).

We are raising money for Cynthia Spencer because that is where Martin spent the last week of his all too short life and they were fantastic with Martin, his family and his friends.

Whether or not you are cycling with us, if you would like to make a donation to Cynthia Spencer Hospice then Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It's also the most efficient way to sponsor us; Friends Of Cynthia Spencer Hospice gets your money faster and, if you're a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

Thank you for your support. Rosemarie, Grace and Harry
