Story

Hello, and thanks for visiting my fundraising page

(please see note below re Gift Aid before clicking the Donate Now button)

On June 21st 2010, I shall be embarking upon my most physical challenge to-date in order to raise as much money as possible for Headway Worcester Trust and Frenchay Brain Injury Rehabilitation Centre. The donations will be split 20/80 respectively.

Please note that Gift Aid cannot be claimed on your donations; although Headway has charitable status, Frenchay does not, so unfortunately all your donations will have to be made without Gift Aid. After clicking the Donate Now button, just tick the box to select non-UK tax payer status when prompted.

Back in December 2008, Mark Lambert suffered a brain haemorrhage and I thought I'd lost a lifelong friend. After intensive care, Mark moved to the Frenchay Brain Injury Rehabilitation Centre. It does what it says and Mark is on a long journey to get back to being himself - petrolhead, bad at keeping in touch, forgetting his wife's birthday, that sort of thing. Headway Worcester Trust is acting as the fundraising partner to Frenchay. Headway's regional centres look after both the patients and carers during the long term recovery from brain injury.

So, I shall be cycling 962 miles in just 10 strenuous days, covering our beautiful country from John O'Groats to Lands End together with my cycle-buddy, Mat. Please donate as generously as possible; I assure you the ride will be a massive and strenuous challenge for me.

You can visit our website at: www.matandpauldojogle.weebly.com  for more information on the build-up to the ride, photos and other interesting stuff.

You can sponsor me simply through this Just Giving page. Donations will be quickly processed and passed to Headway and Frenchay. Just Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim Gift Aid on Headway's  behalf where the donor is eligible for this.

I really appreciate everybody's support despite these hard times and thank you for all donations, LARGE and small.

Paul
