It's not over folks. I'm nearly half way to my target but that's not even £1 per Kilometer. Thanks to some of my friends I've managed to procure some great auction items to sell in a on-line auction which I am putting together. Already the signed Eddie Jordan Racing shirt has created allot of interest but I'm hoping that the signed Paul Weller and Ocean Colour Scene goodies will also raise a few quid. Watch out for news of the auction coming soon. 

2760kms in 31 days and only 3 days off. From the mountainous southern Spain to the battle fields of Normandy I cycled my was to succeed and complete the challenge I set myself. I've done my part now get your hands out of your pockets and give big to this Great cause. Thanks to Everybody that already has and the great support I've had along the way.

 I find myself here several years after making a promise to my friend Carol Jones, to do something big to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support. As Carol, my friend and 'other mum' was losing her battle with breast cancer I asked her "which charity would you choose to support?”.

Carol was never one to mix her words and made it clear that the team at Macmillan Cancer Support was at the top of her list.

Having travelled the world with work over the past few years I decided to make the Costa Del Sol in Spain my home. With that a seed of an idea was planted and in the last 3 years that seed has grown and grown waiting for the right time to bare fruit.

That time is now and my journey begins here.

My intention is simple, to raise as much money as possible for Macmillan Cancer Support to show my gratitude and support for the people that supported my friend Carol and continue to support others living with cancer. 

It all begins with a Charity Auction near my home in Casares, Spain before embarking on this mammoth bike ride, covering over 3000 kilometres from Casares, Spain to London via France . The culmination of which will be The Back to Blighty Bash and Presentation Evening in Ealing, West London where Carol and her two children Sam and Megan made such an impact on my life.

The work done by Macmillan Cancer Support continues to make the lives of people living with cancer better, especially on a bad day.
