On Saturday July 25th I am going to 'Beat The Moon', this challenge involves cycling 20 miles, canoeing 1 mile and running 1 mile. Oh I forgot, I will also be climbing Scafell Pike. At 3,209 feet it is the highest Mountain in England, some say that Everest is easier to climb!!!

It is by far the greatest challenge I have ever undertaken, what's my motivation for subjecting myself to this? It is for the two Charities (Mencap & Action For Children). I want to make a difference to those less fortunate than myself and I am prepared to face the risks of pain, injury and exhaustion knowing that the effort I am putting in, is not in vain.

I want you to feel a part of Beat The Moon, donate as much as you can afford, it will make no difference to me personally if you don't, it will however make a world of difference to the Children of Mencap and Action For Children.
