On the 21st April, I will be running in my first ever Marathon, the TCS London Marathon to raise money for Whizz Kidz. This will be a huge challenge for me, having only ever run a half marathon during lockdown. 

I chose to support Whizz Kidz as, having seen first hand the impact that having a suitable wheelchair can have on a child as well as their entire family, I want to try and help as many families as possible receive the same level of support. Over 75,000 young people in the UK need to use a wheelchair to be mobile. Unfortunately, they cannot access the equipment that meets their needs through local services. We're here for all of them.Whizz Kidz are the UK’s leading charity supporting young wheelchair users up to 25 years old. They empower young wheelchair users with the equipment, support, and confidence-building experiences they need to take an active role in society. The Whizz Kidz goal is to create a movement for progress towards a more open and accessible world.
