We offer a network of care to life limited & life threatened children

Story

The Charity: Acorns cares for children who are life limited and life threatened – that are unlikely to reach adulthood – and offers support to their families across the Midlands. Visit -  http://www.acorns.org.uk/

It currently costs over £6 million a year to support the families. There is no charge to families for using the services provided by Acorns.  Acorns relies on the community to fund the majority of its activities.

The Challenge: Cycle solo, unassisted from John O'Groats to Land's End

The schedule I've set demands an average of 125 miles per day. Starting in the Scottish highlands, I pass through Carlisle, Northwich, Worcester, Glastonbury to the End of all Land in Cornwall. Over 1000 miles in 9 days cycling. All costs (accomodation/supplies) will be self funded, all funds raised will support Acorn's children and families.

The Donation: JustGiving is simple, fast and secure.
