Over the weekend of 24th-26th may 2014, my 2 uncles, myself and with Dad driving had a great result in completing the 3 peaks Challenge just inside 24 Hours.

The challenge was to climb the 3 highest peaks in the UK, starting with Ben Nevis, Scotland, then on to the Lake District to climb Scarfell and finishing with Mount Snowdon in Wales all in under 24 hours, including travel time between all 3 start points. At 14 years of age this was a tough challenge! I am really, really pleased to say we did it!!

We recorded a time of 23 hours 58 minutes. A time which we thought we were not going to make. 

To give me the original incentive to do the challenge, I have raised much needed funds for Cancer Research UK in memory of my Grandad, who died of the condition in February 2014.

I have managed to raise more than £500, which is more than I thought I would in the first place. A big thank you to all those that sponsored me.  

Before I started, I know my Grandad would have been proud of me. Now I have done it, I am proud of myself.
