I am running in the London Marathon on April 24th 2016. I am running to help raise money for Winston's Wish a charity that I believe does an incredible job at the most testing of times ,helping children and their families cope with the passing of a loved one. 

It's a particularly personal choice for this fundraising exploit as the issues the charity deal with have directly affected my own family and Winston's Wish provides specialist assistance and guidance when its most needed.

I also unfortunately know of friends that have also had to come to terms with the loss of a loved one far too soon, and so by running in the London Marathon I would like to dedicate this event to the memories of those friends and their lost loved ones, with the overall aim to raise further awareness for Winston's Wish and through your donations keep up its continued work to help those children and their families who need it in times of grief.

If my fundraising helps raise enough money to help just one child or family in the future I will feel elated, so please donate if you can...and wish me luck I am going to need it!
