Yes the time has come again for me to put my body through hell and take part in another crazy challenge!! This time I got the great idea to dress up as a character from Sesame Street and attempt to not only run the The Great North Run at 13.1 miles but also run the London marathon in this ridiculous suit! My initial aim is to stay alive without suffering from heat exhaustion, but more importantly the aim for me and the rest of the boys is simply to raise as much money for Barnados as possible! This is a brilliant Charity and I am very proud to run for them again, fingers crossed the money I raise and you will hopefully donate will go along way to changing a child's life. I must say I thought long and hard about asking you all for money again, but I thought if I can run a total of 39.3 miles in this outfit, then hopefully it might be worth donating something! I am delighted I am not alone on this challenge and I am joined my another 6 nutters all who have given up a few pints at the local each night for hitting the streets and trying to burn off the chippy from the night before! I hope to raise £2000 for Barnardo's, and hopefully you can help get me close to that target, anything you feel you can pledge will make a difference. So look out for a broken Sesame St character on telly and it will be me! As always your in lycra (this time under the suit,thankfully!) Elmo aka Matt
