We offer expert care, guidance and support to people living with a terminal illness

Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

On 2nd November 2008 I will be undertaking my third Marathon in aid of Marie Curie Cancer Care. I have already raised £3,500 from my previous Marathons and aim to raise a further £2,500.

After the New York Marathon I will continue my training for the Endurancelife Coastal Trail Series which is a unique Marathon event that runs from December 2008 until April 2009.  The series comprises of 5 stunning locations all along the rugged coastline of the South West of England and Wales. All 5 runs are marathon distances and I will run one per month from December to April!

To run a marathon takes a lot of training and dedication and whilst I have a passion for running most weeks on average I endure 35 miles cross country for training! But what motivates me and pushes me on the most is to raise money for Marie Curie which is a charity that provides support to families in hard times by offering free nursing care to cancer patients and those with other terminal illnesses in their own homes.

Please take a minute to donate to Marie Curie by clicking through Justgiving which is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Marie Curie Cancer Care gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now!

Best Wishes and I will keep you up to date on my results after the 2nd November.
