Hello and welcome to our fundraising page.  The idea for this has been borne out of people asking us if they could make donations in Max's name to a charity.  Danny and I have been fortunate enough to attend SANDS meetings and have made use of their website and literature.

In lieu of flowers at the funeral we decided to donate money to a charity so that Max is able to continue to change people's lives.

Some very good friends and I are doing a gym sponsored challenge to raise mor money for SANDS.  The challenge will be to complete as many gym classes in one week as possible and to spend as much time in the gym as possible (this can include swimmng and aquarobics).  You can either sponsor me per hour or you can make an overall donation amount.  Having spoken to SANDS and my hospital consultant we are using the money raised to buy a new bed for the bereavement room at Queens Hospital in Romford and a new moses basket for babies born sleeping.  I would also like to be able to buy pillows and bed linen as well if we manage to raise enough money.

We appreciate and value all the support, cards, offers of help and supportive phonecalls from all of our family and friends at such a difficult time.
