Walking, easy peasy! Or so I thought until I decided to take a long walk.....26.2 miles to be precise. Oh my aching feet!  But it is for a fantastic cause, so keep walking I will, determined to finish the course (possibly in a shopping trolley). 

We all know someone who has been affected by some form of cancer, and my inspiration for doing this event is a very close friend who has been battling this disease for some time now.  She will be walking with me, together with 8 other friends, and we are aiming to raise as much money as we can.  I know that everyone seems to be asking for donations these days, but any amount of sponsorship will be gratefully received. 

The walk takes place on Saturday 14th May starting in Hyde Park at midnight (which is why it's called the Moonwalk, nothing to do with Michael Jackson's slidey backwards dance move!)

Off for another training walk now, got to get those miles in!
