Story
Hello All
Me and dad are running 10 miles at the Great South Run again for the Alzheimer's Society (actually dad pulled a muscle last time and hobbled around the other nine miles but I know by hook or by crook he will get over the finish line).
We're doing it again because of my mum. Since we ran last two years ago she is still at home being looked after by her lovely carers, but sadly her illness has worsened. She can no longer talk or walk unaided. She's now 63 and still too young to have this disease and she's been suffering with it for well over seven years. She's not alone as there are over 15000 younger people with dementia in the UK. The Alzheimer's Society is a great charity who have supported us throughout this illness.
So if you can sponsor us that would be brilliant.
