I am walking 15 miles on Monday 3 May to raise money for Greenwich & Bexley Cottage Hospice. 15 miles. Up hills, through woods and stuff.

I haven't done anything like this for 3 years for various reasons, since I did the Half Moon half marathon for Breast Cancer in fact. The training is good and I have managed to listen to the Harry Potter Books on talking book whilst doing it - SPOILER ALERT, he dies. Not really.

In a polite version of what Bob Geldof said 'give us your flipping money' - please.

The hospice is a wonderful place funded solely by donations without a penny of central government money. It provides dignified, expert care to people in their last days as well as invaluable support to families and friends when they have a loved one admitted, and after they pass on.

Pleased help me raise lots and lots and lots of money for it - you never know what is round the corner, or when you or someone you love may need the help of such an amazing place.
