Story

Always a glutton for punishment I have decided to complete another London Marathon. I am training seven days a week with Liffey (four legged team member) who is getting very fit and a little bit miffed about not being able to stop and do the things dogs do!! Angie (very understanding, pasta cooking team member and my lovely wife) is now a Marathon training widow!!

This year I am hoping to beat my personal best from 1999 of 2hrs 54mins. I am aiming for a sub 2hrs 45mins.

Please reward my effort with a generous donation to The Multiple Sclerosis Resource Centre. Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The Multiple Sclerosis Resource Centre will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now! Many thanks for your support, and I will let you know how I get on when I have recovered after the marathon. Michael Results so far this year: 12.02.2005 Cardiff 10K Love Run. 40min 56 sec in the pouring rain and howling gale. 12th out 458 finishers. 13.03.2005 Silverstone Half Marathon. 1hr 24min 11sec. 108th out of 8494 runners. MARATHON RESULT 3 hours and 13 minutes of HELL. But the MSRC team were brilliant, would not have got home without them!!
