Some of you may have been told by me (repeatedly and without any kind of suggestion or tenuous link to the conversation) that I'm going on a buttock tearingly long solo bicycle tour this summer. I was going to go through France and Spain to Benicassim, but instead I've decided to go through Spain, France, Italy, Croatia, Serbia and Hungary...and as I'm probably completely unlikely to ever do anything quite so energetic ever again, I thought it a good opportunity to try and raise some money.

Now I know there's a credit crunch on, so I wont badger you all for donations. But if you could at least join this group and invite some people to it, then I'm more likely to get some donations. My trip isn't quite finalized, but when I totally sort it out, ill post up a more accurate itinerary for all you stalkers and obsessives (i.e. none of you) to peruse. But basically, I'm going to fly to Barcelona on the 15th June and cycle along the coast along the French Riviera, then across the top of Italy, along the Adriatic coastline. Then Ill catch a ferry across to Croatia, bike up to Zagreb and catch a Train to Exit Festival in Novi Sad...When the madness of the festival is over I'm going to cycle to Budapest and catch a flight home.

Its about 1200 miles in about a month...quite a challenge for one of the least animated people in the country. So if you reckon it's worthy of 3 pints and a bag of crisps, please stick some money into this account.
