Story

Thank you for supporting our:

Gift of an Ultra Sound Scanner To The Hospice of St Francis

In Memory of Marie-Paule Michele Newsum

The Hospice play a vital role in the Berkhamsted community.  St Francis is now a wonderfully large, newly built, Hospice replacing an older version on another site.
The Hospice is headed up by Dr Ros Taylor a live wire and her equally sharp team.  They are setting new standards in Hospice care and training both at their own site and importantly, ever more so, in their Hospice at Home program.

They urgently need an Ultra Sound Scanner and we shall be providing the funds to enable them to have one within the next few weeks.  This will enable them to help many many people at their Hospice.  Including people like Marie who need fluid draining from their chests.

Yes they're the Good Guys!

If you don't like online and would like to donate directly to Hospice of St Francis either phone them on 01442 869550 or post a cheque to them at Spring Garden Lane, Berkhamsted, HP4 3GW.  (Don't go to St Francis website else it'll just send you to their own Just Giving site).  Be sure to tell them it is for the Scanner appeal!

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to raise funds for the Scanner: Hospice Of St Francis (Berkhamsted) gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

It is really exciting that the support is so positive.  Thanks loads.

Best wishes

Michael and Luke
