Ambitious about Autism is the National Charity for autistic children and young people championing their rights and creating opportunities. They stand with autistic children and young people by providing services, raising awareness, understanding and by campaigning for change.

Story

Yes everyone, I have decided to mess with my biomechanics and destroy my legs with the 26.2 miles of torture known as the London Marathon.

So in order that this physical punishment does not become a futile sacrifice of my ability to walk I need all of you to help make my effort worthwhile.

I am running for a charity called TreeHouse (see left). Their aim is to transform through education the lives of children with autism and in so doing make a huge impact upon the families of those children too. They run a specialist school in North London that gives hope to families and children living with severe autism . On top of that they offer advice and training to parents and teachers dealing with children with autism up and down the country.  The people at TreeHouse are so comitted and do a brilliant job but they are still quite a small charity so they need all the help they can get.

And so do I if I am going to reach that fundraising target at the top of this page so please dig as deep as you possibly can.  Pay up large and early and I will try to make this less painful for all of us.

Thanks!
