Story

A huge THANK YOU to all those who have sponsored Mike so far! We've reached the fundraising target of £1,500, but the more the better for CLDF!

Hello you! Many thanks for visiting my fundraising page. Please mine your reserves and sponsor me online.

The CLDF are a marvellous charity. Through their hard work, parents' and medics' awareness of liver disease in children is on the increase. That way more and more children who are unfortunate enough to develop a liver disease are diagnosed earlier, thus vastly improving their chances of survival and quality of life after treatment. CLDF also fund research in to the causes of and treatments for liver disease.

I have first hand experience of the good work of the charity after my first born, Arthur (pictured left) was diagnosed with biliary atresia when he was a tiny baby. For more on Arthur's plight visit: http://www.arthurcelyn.blogspot.com

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Children's Liver Disease Foundation will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me generously! I'll let you know how I get on.

Many thanks for your support,

Mike
