Hi all,
Thanks very much for visiting my fundraising page. As a means of getting fit and for a worthy cause I have agreed to do the London Bridges Cycle ride this year. I'm hoping that as an introduction to the world of cycling events that this will be relatively easy. It is in London after all and I don't remember seeing too many hills right? (famous last words - some of the bridges could be quite steep I guess).
As far as I am aware this ride covers
14 bridges (are there really that many?),
33 miles (again, how wide is London? That's a quarter of the way round the entirety of the M25!), an lasts pretty much the entire day. More details can be found
here if you want to find out what I have let myself in for. Better than that if you fancy coming to support me (please bring oxygen) then I would appreciate your help!
I shall not be alone, some of my colleagues at Telstra are also going to be on the ride and we will all be wearing suitably corporate jerseys (groan) probably in a stunning shade of Blue or Orange. Go team Telstra!!!
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The Stroke Association gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
So please sponsor me now!
Thanks very much. You can feel really cool as you will be supporting a most worthy cause if you sponsor me.
