Story

Hi Folks!

I am attempting a slightly odd personal challenge for charity and to also prove to myself that I can get back to some sort of fitness following very little exercise for the last 7 years!

The challenge is to run the 18.1 mile Camel Trail in Cornwall starting at Padstow and finishing at Poley's Bridge on the edge of Bodmin Moor, I will then be running up Roughtor (8 miles total) through boggy marshes and Beast tracks to the highest point in Cornwall and down again with a total target time of 6 hrs.

I will be running for the Skin Cancer Research Fund as my Grandad is currently fighting this illness.

I don't really know the way yet and I may well get airlifted off the moor in the fog but I am going to have a good go and see what happens, any money you can spare even if it is just a quid or so would be massively appreciated!

About the charity

Skin Cancer is one of the most common cancers and numbers are increasing rapidly. Most forms of skin cancer are not life threatening but the most serious form malignant melanoma can be deadly. This charity funds research into the causes, prevention and treatment of skin cancer.
