About my charity : Derian House Childrens Hospice Derian House Childrens Hospice
Providing specialist care and support for children with a terminal or life threatening illness. The hospice is open 365 days a year offering support to children and their families, yet as a charity only receives statutory funding for just 5 weeks. With more than £1.7 million needed each year it remains almost totally reliant on voluntary funding.

My personal message:

Some people do 10 km runs in diving suits - but I'm not one of them!!

Me, and some of my colleagues at United Utilities, have been talked into attempting the 10km Great Edinburgh Run on May 4. It doesn't sound very far, but it looks pretty intimidating to me. I’ll be trying to beat my team mates across the finishing line and bringing home the most money for three great charities: Derian House Children’s Hospice, United Utilities Changing Live Challenge and The Good Life Orphanage .

If you sponsor me online your money will go to Derian House only. However if you’re happy for me to share your donation between all three charities you can send me a cheque made payable to E&CS Charity Account to Mike O’Neill, United Utilities, 1100 Century Way, Thorpe Park, Leeds, LS15 8TU.
