Story

Hi,

Thank you for visiting my "homepage". If you don't know me, I am the guy in the photo with the specs and the tan (I have no idea who the woman is, although I'm going to try and find out).

As many of you know, I am running the New York Marathon in a few weeks (6th Nov) in aid of the Alzheimer's Society. The Alzheimer's Society is the leading UK care and research charity for people with this disease and other forms of dementia. I'm very proud to be running and collecting for this charity and have therefore set myself a high target to raise around £2000, so I would be grateful for any donation that you could make. Corporate sponsorship greatly appreciated!!

Inspired by the 2005 London marathon, I decided in May to enter the New York and began training like mad. This dwindleled pretty quickly and I now face a gruelling 26.2 miles. Finishing before the roads reopen and being arrested for jaywalking is now heavily reliant on Lucozade, Solpadeine, and motivation through your sponsorship. So please dig deep. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Alzheimer's Society will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you. Many thanks for your support, hope to see all youse guys soon.

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.
