Sadly, in September 2020, my father passed away from alcohol related causes due to a life-long battle with alcohol addiction. In his honour, I want to donate some money to an alcohol and addiction support charity to try and help make sure less people meet his unfortunate fate and can turn their lives around. However, rather than just hand over a donation, I was looking to do some fundraising during the process before the donation in hopes of getting a few others to donate to the cause too.

My Dad's first car was an old Austin Maestro. In his honour, I have purchased a 1988 Austin Maestro and plan to drive the car from Lands End to John O'Groats before auctioning the car off at the end with all proceeds from the sale being donated to charity.
