Story
In May this year MJN Colston will be entering 2 teams into the 2010 Coins 3 Peaks Challenge. 10 colleagues, consisting of 8 walkers and 2 drivers, have volunteered to step up to the mark and take on the challenge.
The classic mountain challenge of the Coins 3 Peaks is the ultimate team building event for the Construction and Service Industry. This walking event see teams from across the industry compete to climb the three highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales. The challenge encourages a healthy level of competition between competing Construction Industry teams and the event itself must be completed in 24 hours.
We will be raising money for the Coins Foundation who seek to work in genuine partnership to address the needs of the most excluded communities in the world. The Foundation believes in supporting projects that are sustainable; which do the greatest good for the greatest number; which model practices that can be replicated and which demonstrate the civilizing nature of inclusion.
Following the earthquake disaster the Coins Foundation will be committing resources to offer support to Haiti. The COINS Foundation has committed to build 50 homes with monies raised by the Construction Industry primarily through the COINS 3 Peaks Challenge.
More details of the Foundations work can be found on their website below:
Please dig deep and sponsor the MJN Colston team. We need your support to reach our target and putting us through the pain and sleep deprivation of the event must be worth a few quid?!
Please feel free to pass on details of this website to other generous people as we have a 'mountain to climb' with our overall target of £13,000.
Thank you for you time, support and generosity.
