Mohan Mangroo, 48, from South West London has decided to run the Brighton Marathon on Sunday 14th April 2013 to raise much-needed funds for family bereavement charity, Jigsaw (South East). 

"Having run the Brighton Half Marathon previously, it is a great area to run with a huge amount of spectator support," says Mohan. "This, coupled with supporting a charity helping bereaved children and their families in my surrounding area, makes this very worthwhile."

The death of a loved one is devastating but for children in particular it may be overwhelming. Jigsaw (South East) provides families and individual young people across Surrey and surrounds with the support that will enable them to develop strategies for coping whilst also meeting others who have had similar experiences.

Since setting up a partnership with Macmillan Cancer Support last year, the charity now also supports families facing the loss of a loved one through serious illness. 

It makes no charge to families and is dependant upon donations and successful funding bids.

By donating just a few pounds, you will not only help Jigsaw to continue supporting bereaved children and their families, as well as those coming to terms with a terminal diagnosis, you will also provide a much-needed boost to this brave runner who is putting his body on the line for such a good cause.
