Hi guys! The Money mini pod are using our volunteering day to go on a hike!  

We're hoping to raise money for women & children caught up in the crisis in Afghanistan and we need your help! We're organising a couple of events, one a week, for the next couple of weeks and we'd love to see you guys in the office to get involved + help us raise as much as we can. 

• Wednesday 22nd September - Bake sale! We will provide tasty baked goods for you to buy and devour. If you can also bake and want to contribute, that is great!  Prices of cakes will vary but will be only a few £s each
• Thursday 30th September - Pool tournament - Making the most of our new toy in the office, plz bring your competitive side and join our pool tournament and battle it out to be the winner  £5 entry
• Wednesday 6th October - World Food Day! Bring a food to work that’s traditional to your home country/city, and donate a fiver, and we can all enjoy each others foods and hear more about them 
• Wednesday 13th October - Games lunch! We'll have a selection of board games and activities for us all to play in the office during lunchtime to give your brain a break from usage logs. £5 entry 

Who we're helping

Women for Refugee Women is a small charity which supports women who are seeking refuge from persecution, including rape and other torture, to rebuild their lives and communicate their own needs and stories. We work in three main ways: to support and empower women seeking asylum; to communicate with wide audiences by telling the stories of refugee women through the media, events and arts projects; and to inform policy makers and politicians about how to build a fairer asylum process.
