Story
Swim went well (No drowning) thank you all so much for sponsors, all for great cause. :)
Nova International, organisers of the Great Scottish Swim, has been advised that the swim has been canceled. This decision has been taken in the interests of safety of swimmers after further stringent water quality checks were completed by The Scottish Environment Protection Agency.
We are now going to swim on Sat 28th August in Loch Ard, Aberfoyle. We are goin to do the 500m ourselves as the orginised swim was canceled.
The Samaritans receive over 5.3million calls for help in a year, but less than 2% of their income is from Government and Statutory sources. Thousands of people rely on their help when they have no one else to turn to. That's why Fiona Clare and Sara are facing our fear of the deep, yucky water and taking part in the GREAT SCOTTISH SWIM in August. We are looking for sponsorship to raise money for this brilliant cause. I f you can spare a few pennies please go to our just giving page http://www.justgiving.com/Montygirls. It would be much appreciated! :)
Clare and Sara are now going to run 10K on 5th sept too.
