We support children and their families to live life to the fullest.

Story

Members of the 'Woodsmith Project' auxiliary mines rescue team will be completing the Yorkshire 3 peaks challenge on the 25th of September 2021. Being a member of the team requires a high level of fitness which must be maintained all year round should the alarm be raised.

This will be a team effort with all mines rescue members starting and finishing together.

Whilst promoting fitness and teamwork amongst the group, we will also be raising money for Zoё's place baby hospice in Middlesbrough which is a local charity providing palliative, respite and end of life care to babies and infants suffering from life-limiting or life-threatening conditions.

Any donations to this worthy cause would be hugely appreciated.

About the charity

Zoe's Place is a home from home for babies/infants who have life limiting and life threatening conditions. Zoe's Place offers palliative, specialist respite, and end of life care for infants from birth to five years old. We receive very little funding and therefore rely on donations/fundraising.
