We collect used bicycles in the UK and we ship them, in containers, to people who need them in Africa. Some people living in rural African communities walk miles everyday to reach water, school, work or healthcare. Bikes are a sustainable mode of transport and help change lives for many families.

Story

Thanks for visiting our fundraising page.

Mark Berzins, Chris Smith and Shaun Brennan will be taking part in this years London Rail charity challenge.

The challenge is to follow the 2007 Tour de France Stage 2 - London to Canterbury which is a total of 126 miles. The route includes 3 hills that formed part of the Tours 'King of the Mountains' competition. (You may have seen the Spotted Pink Jersey in the Tour de France.

As part of our training we have already completed a 75 mile bike ride which almost killed us!!  This will be a real challenge and there'll be plenty of sore bums and pain on the day so please give generously.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Re~Cycle (Bicycle Aid for Africa) gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

Thanks for your sponsorship

Mark, Shaun and Chris
