We fund medical research to work towards a cure for DIPG

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I'm attempting to climb Mount Whitney in a single day on September 21st 2012 to raise awareness for the Lyla Nsouli Foundation. We have to persevere in the fight of finding cures for children's catastrophic diseases.

Mount Whitney is the highest summit in the contigous United States with an elevation of 14,505 feet (4,421 m).

So please dig deep and donate now.

About the charity

On August 13 2011, two year old Lyla Nsouli was diagnosed with a terrible form of brain cancer called Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG). She passed away only 5 months later. Lyla's family set up this foundation in her honour to fund research into treatment and, eventually, a cure for DIPG.
