Update.......
The Vertical Rush went ahead on Tuesday and I made it to the top.
I huge thank you to all of you who cheered on the stairs and dug deep in your pockets, the tigers will be delighted!
As luck would have it I was the overall winner covering the 49 floors and 1100 steps in 6 mins 59 secs giving an average of 8.5 seconds per floor or. The event has not been run over 49 floors before (I think it’s normally run over 42) which mean that I’ve been told I have the record for the full building course. I’ll be on the phone to this afternoon to get that verified.

On Tuesday 23rd March I'll be running up all 45 floors of HSBC's World HQ - 8 Canada Square as part of the WWF Vertical Rush challenge.
All money raised will go to help the WWF to save tigers in the wild which is very important.
