Either you don't know me, and think that this is a worthwhile cause to support, having seen the trim picture of me at the top of this page, or you know me and appreciate that this is a frankly ridiculuous thing for me to be doing, given my family size, workload, general health and aptitude.

Feel reassurred, I will complete. Feel even more reassurred, I look quite odd running along, and will be broken by the end. My cheeks will be redder, and I may possibly also be slightly shorter after 26 miles.
