This year I am running the London Marathon in April and then undertaking the Tour de Etape in July.  This is a stage of the Tour de France and this year the 180km stage over the mountains culminates with the iconic Mont Ventoux.

So lots of training required.

As you may know, my daughter Katie was diagnosed with Nephronophthisis at the end of last year.  This is a rare kidney disease and will result in her needing a transplant in the next few years.

I therefore would like my money to go towards the paediatric nephro - urology department at Southampton Hospital, which is where Katie will be treated to help buy materials and equipment.
