Fundraising for Multiple Sclerosis Society
Story
Hi, I am Chris the organiser of this event,
In July we are doing the 3 peaks challenge (http://www.thethreepeakschallenge.co.uk/ ) - this involves climbing Ben Nevis in Scotland, Scafell Pike in the Lake District and Snowdon in Wales all in 24 hours!!
We are doing this challlenge to raise money for the M.S society, in memory of my Dad who passed away in July last year aged just 51. He had suffered with M.S since the age of 22 and had benefited greatly from the support and help from the M.S society and therefore I hope you will support us in raising money for this very worthy cause. Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is the most common disabling neurological condition affecting young adults. MS is an autoimmune condition in which the immune system attacks the central nervous system, it effects the ability of nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord to communicate with each other.
