Story

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page.

Due to the huge success of our previous Ladies Evenings we are holding another event this year! We would like to thank everyone who has contributed towards the wonderful total of over £8,500 which has been raised over the past four years and hope that you are able to support this worthy cause again in 2010.

Due to the wonderful growth of the event over past years we are holding it in a new venue this year so that we can increase the number and variety of stalls for your shopping pleasure! This year the evening will be held at St Georges Hall in Washcommon on Saturday 13th November 2010, starting at 7:30pm. You will have the opportunity to purchase from companies such as Chocoholics, Manumit, Pampered Chef, Phoenix Cards, Rainbow Jewellery, Virgin Vie and many more. We will also be joined for the second year by the Old Sweet Shop, the Clothes Shop and a lady called Suki who sells amazing bags and purses! There will be a cookery demonstration from Pampered Chef, chocolate tasting with Chocoholics and pampering and make-overs from Virgin Vie. Please email Emily at emilyclaireblackwell@sky.com when purchasing tickets if you wish to book a pampering treatment.

A donation of £5 on this site entitles you to one ticket which includes a free glass of wine (or soft drink!) on arrival and entry into a Champagne Prize Draw which will be held at the end of the evening!

If you are unable to join us on the night but would like to make a donation towards such a worthy cause then why not purchase a raffle ticket for the opportunity to win two amazing seats at a London Theatre to see Oliver (on a day of your choice subject to availability) which are worth in excess of £120! These raffle tickets are also £5 each and can be purchased by making a donation on this site.

Having made a donation on this site, please then email Emily at emilyclaireblackwell@sky.com to confirm whether you wish to purchase an entry ticket or a raffle ticket.  Please also advise your address so these may be posted to you.

MS is a condition of the central nervous system and is the most disabling neurological disease among young adults, with over 85,000 people affected in the UK. MS is often diagnosed in people between the ages of 20 and 40, and women are almost twice as likely to develop it as men. Once diagnosed, MS stays with you for life. Although its cause is not known and a cure has yet to be identified, research continues to enable sufferers to manage many symptoms well.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to donate: the Multiple Sclerosis Society will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

Many thanks for your support.
