Story
Dear All,
On the 7th of August 2010 those listed on this webpage will embark upon one of the most grueling feats of human endurance ever in the name of charity. The charity is Tackle Africa, which uses football to help educate African children in their understanding of HIV/AIDS. The feat is to play 12 hours of continuous football from 8am to 8pm. On Clapham common, home of the divot and concrete like surface, in searing heats of up to 40 degrees.
Around 45km will be covered in total per person, which considering the conditions, makes the London marathon look like a potato sack race.
I urge you all, friends and family, to dig deep into your pockets and hearts to donate to what is a truly wonderful cause.
Many thanks from all those at My Face.
