After the success of the 2005 walk. We have decided to organise another walk to try and beat the amount we raised last time. We are trying to help our local group to raise money and awareness of Colitis and Crohn's. We both have had severe cases of Colitis after being diagnosed in our early 20's.  

FACTS:

Both Colitis and Crohn's are forms of inflammatory bowel disease's (IBD), and are chronic (ongoing) conditions, which are not infectious. Men and women suffer equally.

Colitis:
Affects up to 120,000 people in the UK, that’s about 1 in 500.

Crohn's:
Affects approximately 60,000 people in the UK, that’s about 1 in 1000.
