Story

On Sunday 29th June 2008

The New Inn Baschurch Men in DRAGon BOAT team stuck their best worst assets out for Charity.

Had it not been for Antoinette re-enacting a scene from titanic, it would not have been half as much fun! Check out Sunday's new video here.

Last year we came 7th out of 39 teams and won all of our 3 heats, this year we got into the final after setting the 2nd fastest time on our first go! Our performance here on YouTube was trying to set the slowest time but still managed to beat half the field.

We came 4th overall just half a second behind 1st place winners so dig deep.

Please write down whom of our team you are sponsoring when writing in the comments box as there is a prize of some used women’s underwear for the one who raises the most!

Thanks to the team as they appear on the picture from left.

Severn Hospice provides specialist care and emotional support for families in Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin and Mid Wales living with an incurable illness. All our care is provided for free, but it is not without cost - we have to raise £2 for every £3 we spend. It's because you care that we can.
