St Paul's Children's Home. Nairobi, Kenya.
This home for children is a beautifully touching place where orphaned children can find a place where they will be fed, clothed and schooled.
The home is in desperate need of basic necessities, the children do not even have soap to wash with. When I helped out over the summer of 2008 a fire burnt down the dining hall. This caused an obvious physical and monetary discomfort to the children and the home. Every few weeks a new child is brought in, whether the child is found dumped in a gutter or abandoned by its destitute parents, the home is always welcoming. St Paul's also attempts to find good foster parents for the older children and a school is run by the owner to educate them as well.
With your help and kind donations I intend to raise £2000 for the Home. I will brave my fears and skydive in July 2009 in the name of this charity. I have paid for the skydive already and so all of your sponsorship money will go directly to the charity.
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Asian Foundation for help gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
So please sponsor me now!
