Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.
NaNoWriMo is short for the National Novel Writing Month, and happens in November. The goal of the thing is to write a 50,000 word novel in just 30 days, and this year, I'm gonna nail it. I have my story all planned (which is to say, I've planned to NOT plan anything, to just go where the characters tell me to go), but I'd like something to spur me on towards a good cause.
I work for a very worthwhile charity called Columba 1400 which works with young people in Scotland who find themselves in tough situations, helping them realise their potential. It's an inspiring idea, and it's a theme which I would love to explore a bit during November, through NaNoWrimo.
