Story

Thank you SO much for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page and donating. Not only is your donation going directly to a fantastic local charity, but your sign of support is the greatest motivation one can have... especially on that glorious 20th mile. So in advance - THANK YOU!

I have been involved with The Clock Tower Sanctuary, a drop in centre for homeless and insecurely housed young adults, for a fair few years now. The experiences I have shared there and the people I have met - both the volunteers and service users - has had a huge impact on who I am today. Running a long way and raising as much money as I can squeeze, I guess is my way of saying thank you The Sanctuary and in your face homelessness!

I will be updating my page and blogging my way through the next few months, so please check out my posts to find out more about what goes on at The Sanctuary, to hear about my training and for lots of photos (no doubt including a couple of my cat, because who doesn't appreciate a good cat selfie!).
