Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My daughter, Amelia has Beckwith Wiedermann Syndrome and Hyperinsulinism. Her first 13 weeks were spent in hospital, and she has had 3 major operations to date, and is due for another. She copes with her problems amazingly and is a pleasure to be around (most of the time!!!)

Over the past 2 years, along with our friends and family, we have been raising money for GOSH charity which is where Amelia has spent a great deal of time.

I am attempting to beat my time from 2009 (which shouldn't be too hard!!) of 3.25hours.

Please dig deep for this special charity and allow more children to get the incredible support that Amelia has.

About the charity

We fundraise to enhance Great Ormond Street Hospital’s ability to transform the health and wellbeing of children and young people. Donations help to fund advanced medical equipment, child and family support services, pioneering research and rebuilding and refurbishment.
